It's a self-guided walking tour of ten distinctive homes, three historic buildings, and outdoor art—rain or shine, as always.

• Purchase in person at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse Box Office: 3 hours before any Gretna Music concert (see website for days Gretna Music is in Playhouse)

• Purchase in person at the Mt. Gretna Visitor Information Center (small building on Carnegie Avenue near the parking lot by the Jigger Shop):

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 1–5 pm

  • Friday–Sunday: Noon–6 pm

• Day-of tickets are sold outside the Mt. Gretna Post Office on Princeton Avenue

• A 1920s charmer, cozy at 790 square feet, glowing with French country warmth.

• French doors, a treetop sleeping porch, and a hidden backyard garden thirteen years in the making. Yes, there's a pond. Yes, there's a resident bullfrog.

• A Tuscan-inspired 1900s cottage aglow with eight stained glass windows and a front-porch view straight to the Mt. Gretna Playhouse.

• An 1892 cottage that doubles as a living scrapbook, filled with keepsakes from a life well traveled.

• Ninety-six years young, with wooden floors, original windows, and a delightfully eclectic mix of antiques.

• A 1920 home with an original fireplace and an inviting wraparound porch.

• A peaceful, pond-side retreat with accessible spaces and a rich Stoberdale history.

Your ticket helps power Gretna Music's 51st season of exceptional live performances at the Playhouse. Beautiful homes and beautiful music—now that's a lovely pairing.

At post office on day of tour, those who purchased tickets will be checked in and receive a wristband, shoe booties (please carry them and use them in all homes that request it), and a map booklet that contains short bios on each of the homes and where to find them. 

The Mt. Gretna Tour of Homes is a fascinating glimpse into the architecture and style of Mt. Gretna’s iconic homes. This self-guided walking tour gives access to homes of contrasting styles, some over a century old. This year’s tour showcases ten homes, three historic buildings, and three outdoor art installments.
