Our Mission

Gretna Music’s mission is to present exceptional musicians primarily in chamber, jazz, and world music to inspire, engage and create an inclusive community in southcentral PA. 

We believe in:

• Virtuosity in performance

• Chamber Music as a vital art form

• Use of our resources to benefit our local communities

• Diversity of backgrounds of our performers, audience, board, staff, and volunteers

Goals

 Our goals align with goals of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts:

• Engage citizens to experience excellent music and connectedness through art;

• Work with public and private sector partners to build collaborations to use the arts as a positive force in our community;

• Offer opportunities for lifelong learning through the arts;

• Offer young people a chance to perform and build essential skills in arts administration which helps promote success in school and career readiness.
